Camping & caravanning
Camping is a great adventure for many and we welcome singles, couples and families alike.
Our touring and camping pitches are mainly grass with some having the option of electric. Our fully serviced pitches are concrete and gravel and have water grey waste and electric.
All pitches have plenty of grass areas on which the children can play rounders or cricket etc. or put down a blanket and have a picnic. All pitches have beautiful views of rural Cornwall.
An evening with friends/families with a BBQ/firepit in a chilled atmosphere enjoying time to relax and breathe in the fresh air is not to be missed. After dark take in the fantastic night sky with very little light pollution, the stars are a fantastic site. Take a visit to our on-site bar and restaurant to enjoy a drink, meal or a take away, if you want a break from cooking.
Weather permitting we allow fire pits. We supply a few, free of charge but we ask you to purchase your wood from us in the shop. The pits must be raised to avoid permanent damage to the grass. (Please take care at all times with live flames. Precautions should be taken to lesson the risk of fire spread, i.e a bucket of water nearby and not close to the living units, cars etc.)
We have 12 grass electric pitches and 30 grass non-electric pitches available to hire.
Each pitch is approx 9m x 9m, so your tent, caravan/awning or motorhome will need to be able to fit inside this measurement (including all guide ropes).
If you are pitching your caravan and awning on a hardstand the awning has to be on the gravel, to allow for safe distance between pitches.
On arrival you can conveniently park by your pitch to unload your belongings meaning there’s no need for hauling your heavy bags far.
PLEASE NOTE: During the summer holidays there is a 3 night minimum stay.
Camping tariff:
For up to 6 people
Non-electric pitch - £25.00 per night
Electric pitch - £30.00 per night
Fully serviced pitch - £35 per night
Extra people - £5.00 per person (Over 6 people)
Pup tent/gazebo - £5.00 per night (For storage only, no people are allowed to sleep in it)
Extra cars - £5.00 per night (Please note, you may not be able to park on the pitch)
Electric car charging - £10.00 per charge
All showers and toilet facilities are inclusive.
Well behaved dogs are welcome to stay free of charge.
All pets MUST be up to date with their worming, dog mess to be picked up, they must be on a lead at all times and should never be left unattended.
